KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan has released the latest data on domestic foreign exchange reserves.
According to the data released by the Central Bank, the government reserves of foreign exchange increased by 61 million dollars till July 7, after which the government reserves reached the level of $4.52 billion.
The data showed that commercial banks have deposits of $5.3145 billion. Thus, last week, the value of total foreign exchange reserves was recorded at $9.83 billion.

According to the State Bank, government reserves have exceeded $8.7 billion by adding $2 billion received from Saudi Arabia, $1 billion from the United Arab Emirates, and $1.2 billion received from the IMF during the last week.
