Ruined economy

Problems in Pakistan are mentioned but not solved, the fact is that inflation is a global problem at the moment. It is a fact that inflation is a global problem at the moment but it is a common practice in Pakistan to blame oneself for the shortcomings of others.

In the present regime, the culture of putting one’s shortcomings on others has become very strong. Every minister-adviser seems to be making excuses for inflation, given the fact that the current finance minister of this government, Shaukat Tarin, has been serving as a banker for the last 40 years and has been made finance minister as an economist. Improve the country’s economy and reduce inflation.

On the contrary, Dr. Baqir Raza, who has a Ph.D. in economics, has been made the Governor of SBP. In our country, it does not work this way, that is why the banker has been made the finance minister and the economist the banker. That is why the Governor SBP, despite his best efforts, has failed as a banker till date but Shaukat Tarin, who has been working as a banker for 40 years, has succeeded in the banking sector. But when it comes to the economy, the state of the economy is in front of everyone. This is more or less the world of almost all the institutions in the country.

Now if we accept Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement regarding rising oil prices in the world, I do not understand why oil is expensive for the whole world but why the effects of inflation are only on Pakistan.

Look at the inflation in some countries of the world. Within Tawasia, China has 1.5%, UAE 2.58%, India 4.91, Bangladesh 5.98%, Iraq 6.8%, and the highest. Inflation in Pakistan is 12.3%.

If you look at Africa, inflation is minus 34% in Rwanda, 3% in Senegal, 3.9% in Congo, 3.6% in Nigeria, while in Europe, which has been considered the most expensive region in the world for centuries, it is 1% in Switzerland. Inflation is 5 percent, 2.8 percent in France, 3.4 percent in Denmark, 5.3 percent in Germany, and 5.1 percent in the United Kingdom.

In Pakistan, we have exceeded 12 decimal percent. There are claims that inflation will come down now but in reality taxes on the people are increased in one way or another.

Inflation in the country has skyrocketed over the last three years and the current rulers, instead of accepting responsibility for their shortcomings, sometimes resort to the coronavirus, sometimes to the global recession, sometimes to the wreckage of oil prices and constant fuel, electricity and the people are being buried alive by increasing the prices of food items.

In the present regime, the supply of cheap medicines to the people has also become a nightmare. The price of canned milk is skyrocketing but the rulers are refusing to accept responsibility and even accept the far-reaching reality.

For God’s sake! Have mercy on the people because these poor people have high hopes to bring the politicians in the houses of power but the politicians only give shelter and consolation to the people but the inflation is reduced and there is no change in the life of the people.
