KARACHI: The move of dismissing Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Mustafa Kamal as Project Director Garbage has been challenged in the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday.
The applicant in his plea has stated that Mustafa Kamal was appointed by Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar on 26th August and was removed from his post the very next day, without fulfilling the legal obligations.
The applicant further stated in the plea, “The move of sacking PSP Mustafa Kamal should be declared null and void and he should be given a chance to clean the city”.
Earlier on Tuesday, Mayor Karachi removed Mustafa Kamal as project director for garbage disposal, a day after designating him with the responsibility of cleaning up the metropolis in three months.
