Pakistan Super League franchise Quetta Gladiators set a new record by making the highest score in PSL history, as reported by national media.
On Wednesday at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Quetta Gladiators piled up runs against defending champions Islamabad United to post the highest total in PSL history. Under the leadership of Saud Shakeel, the Gladiators scored 263 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs against Islamabad United.
Quetta Gladiators’ Rilee Rossouw and Hassan Nawaz scored brilliant centuries, making 104 and 100 runs respectively. The 263 runs by Quetta is the highest score by any team in PSL history.

Previously, the record was held by Multan Sultans, who scored 262 runs at the same ground against Quetta Gladiators in 2023. In reply to the target of 264 runs, Islamabad United were bowled out for 154 runs in 19.3 overs, and thus Quetta Gladiators won by 109 runs.
Before the match, Pakistan’s national anthem was played in the stadium, and a one-minute silence was observed in memory of those martyred in the Indian attacks.
