One of the lawyers in the legal team of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) chief and former prime minister Imran Khan, Latif Khosa, got stuck in the lift of Islamabad High Court along with a number of other lawyers on Friday.
After attending the hearing of Imran Khan’s plea against his conviction in the Toshakhana case in IHC, Latif Khosa was heading out. He boarded the lift along with 20 other lawyers but it stopped in the mid-way.
A large number of lawyers gathered outside the lift and expressed concern after finding no quick way to get Latif Khosa out. They said that there was no air-conditioner or fan in the lift.
The panicked lawyer also alerted the IHC Registrar but to no avail.
Rescue personnel were called in who broke the lift door and let everyone including Latif Khosa out, who remained stuck there for about 40 minutes.
