KARACHI: The Sindh Cabinet under the leadership of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved the provincial budget of Rs 2.244 trillion for the next financial year.
According to the details, CM Murad Ali Shah chaired the pre-budget meeting of the provincial cabinet in which a budget worth more than Rs 2,000 trillion was approved for the next financial year.
Addressing the pre-budget meeting, Syed Murad Ali Shah said that this was the last pre-budget cabinet meeting in the 15-year period of the Sindh government. Local government elections are a manifestation of the success of the government.
The chief minister said that our government made better service to the people possible with the guidance of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. It should be noted that the total size of the budget of Sindh 2023-24 has been fixed at Rs 2100 billion, while the budget will be presented today and Saturday.
The budget of Sindh province will be presented in the Sindh Assembly today at 3 pm. The total size of the budget has been allocated Rs 2100 billion while Rs 410 billion have been set for the development budget.
