ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that Pakistan proved its peace credentials by avoiding conflict with India.
While addressing an international conference on Media and Conflict in Islamabad, the president said that our country proved its peace credentials by pursuing a successful fight in the war on terrorism.
He pointed out that Imran Khan gave the message of peace to India soon after he assumed his powers as a Prime Minister.
He also urged the world towards conflict prevention and resolution and deal with multifaceted challenges including global warming.
The president on 5th February said that Pakistan’s unconditional support for Kashmiri brothers and sisters who have been subjected to barbaric locking and internet blockade for six months.
President Arif Alvi said that, by its unconstitutional and unilateral acts of 5 August last year, India explicitly violated the applicable United Nations Security Council resolutions.
