Security forces threw down a PTI protester praying atop a triple container in Islamabad. The video of the incident went viral on social media.

In the video, a young man can be seen praying on top of a stack of three containers when an armed paramilitary officer pushes him off from a height equivalent to three stories.

It remains unclear whether he survived the fall. It should be noted that the government had placed the stacked containers to block roads leading to D-Chowk, but the protesters climbed them and reached the protest area.

Later, late at night, the government launched a crackdown on the protesters and cleared D-Chowk. According to the initial reports, over 400 PTI workers were arrested.

The Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) issued a message via wireless communication, ordering elite commandos to be deployed at the front line to support the ongoing security operation.

Additionally, lights in nearby areas had been switched off, and residents were being urged through public announcements to remain indoors for their safety.

The situation remains tense as law enforcement continues to manage the crowds in the area. According to the initial reports, many PTI workers got injured during the crackdown.
