ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Day parade ceremony to be held today at the President’s House has been canceled.
According to the details, the President’s House Islamabad says that the Pakistan Day Parade on March 23 was postponed due to rain, which was to be held today. The parade to be held in the Presidential Palace parking lot was cancelled.
Earlier, every year Pakistan Day ceremony was held at Shakar Parian Ground, however, it was decided to hold the traditional parade on a limited scale under the austerity policy. The parade has been canceled for unknown reasons.

It should be noted that the Pakistan Day parade organized in Islamabad every year is watched with interest across the country. In addition to the President, Prime Minister, Federal Ministers, and Members of the Assembly, a large number of military officials participate in the ceremony.
A large number of Pakistan Army personnel, including the Chiefs of the Pakistan Air Force, and Army and Naval Forces, participate in the ceremony. March pasts, aerial stunts, and weapons are displayed by the armed forces of Pakistan.
On the occasion of Pakistan Day, special programs are aired on Pakistani radio and TV channels, in which the importance of Pakistan Day is highlighted and it is told what outstanding achievements the Pakistani nation has performed in various fields.
