LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has decided not to bring a no-confidence motion against the Chief Minister of Punjab for the time being, said sources.
An emergency meeting of party leaders was held under the chairmanship of President Muslim League-N president and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the issue of preventing the possible dissolution of the Punjab Assembly.
According to the sources, the summary will not be sent by the Governor of Punjab to take the vote of confidence to the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Sources say that a no-confidence motion against the Chief Minister of Punjab will not be presented for the time being.

According to sources, federal ministers, senior leaders, special assistants to the prime minister and members of the Punjab Assembly participated in the meeting held in Lahore.
Sources say that Hamza Shehbaz, leader of the opposition in the Punjab Assembly, also attended the meeting.
In the meeting, a consultation was held on the issue of preventing the possible dissolution of the Punjab Assembly. Rana Sanaullah, Azam Nazir Tarar and Khawaja Saad Rafiq also participated in the meeting.
