ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be held today during which the economic and political situation of the country will be considered.
According to the details, the meeting of the federal cabinet under the chairmanship of PM Shehbaz Sharif will be held at 9 am in the Prime Minister’s House. More points were added to the agenda of the cabinet meeting.
Reliable sources said that the proposed amendments in the Army Act regarding important appointments will also be considered in today’s federal cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The Federal Cabinet will also approve the decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting on October 27 and November 15 and the establishment of the National Institute for Intelligence and Security Studies at Quaid-e-Azam University.
The Cabinet meeting is also likely to approve the interfaith harmony policy. It should be noted that earlier the federal cabinet led by the prime minister had approved a significant increase of 63 percent in the margins of oil companies.
At the beginning of November, it was decided to increase the margin by Rs 6 per liter for the oil companies, which had been demanding an increase in the margin of Rs 8.85 per liter for a long time, due to cost increases due to inflation and other reasons.
