PM prays for ‘speedy recovery’ of Governor Imran Ismail

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has prayed for the early recovery of Governor Sindh Imran Ismail who has tested positive for coronavirus.
“Praying for Governor Imran Ismail’s speedy recovery from COVID19. May Allah grant him the strength to fight this,” said the prime minister in a statement on social media site Twitter.

Governor Sindh Imran Ismail on Monday had confirmed that he has been tested positive for COVID-19 and he will fight the pandemic.
In a tweet, the Governor said: “I have just been tested Covid 19 positive, Allah Kareem inshallah will fight it out. Imran Khan thought us to fight out the most difficult in life and I believe this is nothing against what we r prepared for. May Allah give strength to fight this Pandemic inshallah.”
PTI spokesperson Jamal Siddiqui said that Ismail had had himself tested for the virus on Sunday. Ismail revealed that he had isolated himself at his residence. The governor appealed to the public to pray for him, saying that his health was fine and there was no need to worry.
While talking to media channels, Imran Ismail said he was not feeling symptoms of the virus so far, but was keeping himself in isolation. He said that his family members and mother will also undergo COVID-19 tests soon.
