ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the security agencies to monitor the activities inside Sindh House.
During a meeting chaired by PM Imran Khan in Islamabad, he was apprised of the presence of Sindh Police personnel in and around Sindh House. On the occasion, the prime minister said that the people are with us and by the grace of God Almighty we will thwart the no-confidence motion, he said.
Meanwhile, Sindh police personnel have made strict security arrangements and imposed a complete ban on the entry of guests in Sindh House. According to sources, the prime minister has assigned Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Defense Minister Pervez Khattak to bring back the angry lawmakers of the ruling party.
The participants expressed confidence in the leadership of the prime minister and empowered him to take any decision for the protection of the government.

Details of alleged ‘horse trading’ by opposition parties were also shared with the prime minister on the occasion. The participants advised the prime minister to convene a meeting of the parliamentary party as this would give the government a clear idea of how many MNAs are still in favor of the government. Members said there were reports of some MNAs going missing. These legislators can be identified by convening a meeting.
Moreover, earlier in the morning, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership claimed that PM Khan and his government is planning to attack Sindh House in Islamabad.
