Vince Gilligan, best known for creating Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, is back with a bang with a new TV show, Pluribus, on Apple TV.
Better Call Saul’s Rhea Seehorn reunites with her former showrunner, starring in Pluribus as Carol Sturka, a cynical woman living in a world where people have suddenly become happy all the time as a result of an apocalyptic event that made them content and harmless. However, Carol remains unaffected.

Though a successful novelist, Carol hates her work and desires to do something meaningful.
Her cynicism tells her, “Nobody sane is that happy,” so she tries to figure out what’s really happening around her. While others want Carol to join their cheerful community and try to make her happy, it only makes her upset, creating tension as she struggles to control her emotions amid an unimaginably stressful situation.
This Friday, November 7, the first two episodes of Pluribus arrive on Apple TV.
Is it worth watching?
If you’re a fan of Black Mirror-style sci-fi satire, this one sounds like a can’t-miss series.
