FAISALABAD: As many as 67 pilgrims reached in Faisalabad from Taftan here on Sunday and were quarantined for fourteen days.
As per details, Assistant Commissioner Faisalabad, Sadr Umar Maqbool and other officials received the pilgrims and shifted them to Quarantine Center PARS Jhang Road.
On this occasion, talking to media Assistant Commissioner said all the pilgrims will be kept in Quarantine Center and their blood samples would be sent to laboratory for coronavirus Citing the details of pilgrims Sadr Umar Maqbool said of whom, 20 Zaireen belong to Gujranwala, six to Islamabad.
Seven to Lodhran, three to Sialkot, two to Faisalabad, five to Chakwal, three to Lahore, three to Sargodha, two to Gujrat, two to Bahawal Nagar and one to each from Attock, Sheikhupura, Khanewal, Nankana, Sahiwal, Jhang, Hafiz Abad, Khushab, Dera Ghazi Khan and Rahim Yar Khan.
Earlier, As many as 18 people who had returned from Iran and were quarantined in Dera Ghazi Khan for fourteen days have reached Bahawalpur after testing negative on Saturday.
Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Asif Iqbal Chaudhry said all the 18 pilgrims were tested negative for coronavirus.
He said these 18 people have been instructed to stay in quarantine at their homes for further 14-days. Out of these, seven are from Bahawalpur district, 11 from Rahim Yar Khan district and one from Bahawalnagar district.
Furthermore, four suspected patients of the diseases from Bahawalpur were also tested negative for coronavirus. Three of these people were admitted to Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital and one in Civil Hospital Bahawalpur.
