KARACHI: The Ministry of Commerce has banned 212 items from Pakistan to Afghanistan under the Afghanistan Transit Trade Agreement.
Under the Transit Trade Agreement, goods have been banned from being transported through Pakistan to Afghanistan, for which the Ministry of Commerce has also issued an SRO number.
Goods will not be allowed to be transported from Pakistan to Afghanistan under the Afghan Transit Trade Agreement.
According to SRO No. 17 types of cloth, all types of vehicle tires, tea leaves, cosmetics, and dozens of items used in toilets have been banned.
Similarly, nuts, dry and fresh fruits, and home appliances including fridges, refrigerators, air conditioners, juicers, and mixer blenders are also banned from being taken to Afghanistan.
