Comedian Masood Khawaja of television and stage dramas has passed away in Rawalpindi.
According to the report, Khawaja was undergoing treatment at Holy Family Hospital. He was suffering from kidney disease.
The late actor had last performed in the stage drama at Rawalpindi Arts Council a few days ago. He also appealed to the Prime Minister and Chief Minister of Punjab for help.
It should be noted that Masood Khawaja has acted in several dramas in his long artistic career. The drama Guest House aired on Pakistan Television is one of his famous dramas.
Earlier on May 5, Pakistani showbiz industry legend Masood Akhtar also passed away after a long illness.
Masood Akhtar had been seriously ill for a long time. A few days ago, the actor was diagnosed with lung cancer and had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Lahore for the past month.
Masood Akhtar was born in Sahiwal on September 5, 1940. He started his artistic career on stage in the 1960s and thanks to his excellent acting, after a short time, he started to be counted among the famous stage organizations, while his services for Pakistani television need no introduction.
