A buffalo in Punjab’s Mandi Bahauddin has broken a world record by producing 37 liters of milk in 24 hours, and secured the first position in the All Punjab milking competition.
The Blue Ravi breed buffalo, named Mastani, broke the record previously held by an Indian buffalo named Reshma owned by the resident of the Budha Khera village in Haryana’s Kaithal district that produced 33kg of milk in 24 hours.

A special ceremony was arranged at a private hotel in Gujranwala to celebrate Mastani’s remarkable achievement. Dignitaries, members of the farming community, and admirers gathered to honor Mastani’s accomplishment.
At the ceremony, Mastani’s owner, Iftikhar Ahmed Bagri, was awarded a prize of Rs100,000 and presented with a trophy by the Pakistan Buffalo Breeder Association, the organizers of the event.
