RAWALPINDI: The joint training exercises between Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) and Pakistani troops culminated on Tuesday at Khairpur Tamewali in Bahawalpur district of Punjab.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the training provided an excellent opportunity for the troops of both brotherly countries to enhance their tactical & technical skills and professional abilities through mutual exchange of respective operational experiences.
Last month, Royal Saudi Land Force held the “Al Samsam 8” joint exercise with the Pakistani Army in Pakistan. The participants carried out several maneuvers that included special exercises in a number of areas, including encircling cities and liberating hostages.
The were also trained in irregular war operations The exercise aims to exchange information, expertise and concepts that will be positively reflected in raising combat efficiency in a variety of different environments. The exercise comes within the framework of the ongoing military cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
