KARACHI: The rate of positive cases in the country has come down to less than one percent after two deaths and 288 positive cases of coronavirus in Pakistan.
According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center, 228 people were diagnosed with a coronavirus in the last 24 hours, while two more died, bringing the death toll to 30,333 and the number of patients to 1,522,419.
Punjab is still the worst affected province in terms of deaths, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. So far 13551 people have died in Punjab, 8092 in Sindh, 6307 in KP, 1022 in Islamabad, 792 in Azad Kashmir, 378 in Balochistan, and 191 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
It should be noted that researchers from the famous Oxford University in the UK have studied in detail the effects of coronavirus on the brain. For the study, the brains of more than 700 people between the ages of 51 and 81 were scanned twice.

Detailed research published in the scientific journal Nature found that the human brain volume shrinks from 0.2 percent to 2 percent in coronavirus patients, affecting the ability to control emotions and memory.
Coronary artery disease is a common complaint in patients with coronary heart disease. Experts say that during the study, patients who were not admitted to the hospital for treatment of coronavirus were observed. Numerous pieces of evidence have been found that the virus affects the brain.
