ISLAMABAD: In Pakistan, 457 new cases of corona have been reported while 10 more civilians have died of the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,274,017 people were infected with Corona across the country, while 28,466 civilians lost their lives to the virus.
Moreover, during the last 24 hours, 39,296 tests were performed to diagnose Corona, bringing the total number of tests to 287,987. Across the country, the corona test result was 1.16 percent, while the condition of 1,234 patients is reported critical.

Meanwhile, at the provincial level, Sindh reports 470,421 people infected with corona, in Punjab 440,378, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 178,135, Balochistan 33,267 and in Islamabad 16,945 cases of the deadly virus were reported.
However, COVID-19 killed 12,924 people in Punjab, 7,569 in Sindh, 5,751 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 356 in Balochistan, and 940 in Islamabad.
Though, in the last 24 hours, 428 patients were infected with the virus, bringing the total number of healthy people in the country to 1,222,987. The total number of active cases of the virus was 22,564.
