The Pakistan Navy has successfully rescued and evacuated 18 crew members, including nationals from China, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Indonesia, in the North Arabian Sea.
According to ISPR, in a swift humanitarian operation, the Pakistan Navy conducted the rescue operation, following a distress call from Merchant Vessel GOLD AUTUMN at 200 nautical miles off Pakistan’s coast.
PNS HUNAIN conducted a search and rescue operation with high professionalism and expertise. The ship’s team of specialists provided medical aid, assisted in firefighting, carried out damage assessment, and successfully rescued the crew.
The evacuated crew was safely transported to Karachi for medical care and repatriation to their respective countries.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commended the Pakistan Navy for successfully rescuing 18 crew members of different nationalities during an emergency humanitarian operation in the North Arabian Sea.
In a statement today, he lauded the professionalism, swift response and humanitarian spirit demonstrated by the officers and personnel of the Pakistan Navy.
