KARACHI: Pakistan’s blind cricket team, who defeated India in the final of a tri-nation T-20 tournament played in Dhaka, has joined the popular bandwagon of ‘Pawri Horahi Hai’.
There is a video circulating on social media in which the captain of the blind cricket team can be seen saying, “This is me, this is my team and we are gaining power after defeating India.” It may be recalled that Pakistan Blind Cricket Team defeated India by 58 runs. In pursuit of Pakistan’s 186 runs, the Indian team scored 127 runs for 9 wickets.

Anis Javed, Shahzeb, and Sajid Nawaz of the Pakistan Blind team took 2 wickets each. Pakistan Blind Cricket team scored 185 runs for 9 wickets while batting first. Badar Munir scored 50 off 27 balls, Moin Aslam 33, and Nisar Ali 30 runs.

Pakistan played first and set a target of 175 runs in 15 overs, which its bowlers easily defended. Pakistan’s skipper scored 69 runs off 50 balls with the help of 7 fours and remained the top scorer.
In its chase, the Indian could score 112 runs at the loss of seven wickets. Indian batsman Sunil Ramesh made 39 runs off 28 and remained the top scorer for his side. Pakistani blower Sajid Nawaz grabbed two wickets.
