RAWALAKOT: The Pakistan Army continues to play a leading role in public welfare and provision of basic facilities in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirming its commitment to humanitarian service and national responsibility.
In this spirit, the Pakistan Army organized two mobile free medical camps at Munir Chowk and 15 Chowk in Rawalakot to provide free and quality healthcare facilities to citizens at their doorsteps.
According to details made available with MM News, more than 3,000 patients were provided free medicines by qualified medical staff during the camps.
Expert doctors and paramedical staff conducted detailed check-ups of men, women, children and elderly patients, with special attention given to vulnerable segments of society.
It is important to note that the current initiative by Pakistan Army comes at a time when normal life in the area has recently witnessed some disruptions. In view of the current situation, citizens termed the provision of timely and free medical facilities as a welcome and much-needed step.
Local residents highly appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies for organizing the free medical camps, saying Army has always stood by the Kashmiri people in every difficult hour under the spirit of humanitarianism, public service and national solidarity, and its welfare initiatives are a source of relief for the common citizen.
