Amid rising tension between the two countries, Pakistan and Indian’s directors general of military operations(DGMOs) have reportedly contacted each other to de-escalate the situation.
As per media reports, the DGMOs of both countries maintained direct communication on the hotline to manage ceasefire and reduce ongoing tensions between the two countries.
It should be noted that Pakistan has launched a military operation, Bunayn ul Marsoos, against Indian following the New Delhi aggression against Islamabad in the pretext of the fake terrorist attack on tourists in the illegally Indian-occupied Kashmir last month.
Despite Pakistan’s offer of full cooperation in the investigation of the Pahalgam attack, India falsely blamed Pakistan for the attack and launched an airstrike on different areas in Punjab and Azad Kashmir.
As a retaliation, Pakistan targeted several Indian military installations on Saturday during the military operation Bunayn ul Marsoos.
Earlier on the day, the US Secretary of State phoned Army Chief General Asim Munir and urged him to stop the operation against Indian.
