ISLAMABAD: Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi has arrived in Sri Lanka to meet civil-military leadership.
Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi met Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa during his official visit where he also held a meeting with Defence Secretary Maj Gen (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne.
Abbasi earlier in January said that the Pakistan Navy was ever ready to defend the maritime borders of the country including the security of China Pakistan Economic Corridor and Gwadar Port.
He also expressed satisfaction on the operational activities and preparedness of Pakistan Fleet and said that the successful test of various missiles also proved that Pakistan Navy is fully capable to respond to any aggression.
