Netflix has officially announced that the third season of its live-action adaptation of One Piece will premiere in 2027. Season 3 will carry the title “One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta.”
Set in the desert kingdom of Alabasta, Princess Vivi’s homeland, the season follows Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as they confront a brewing rebellion.
Behind the unrest is the sinister Sir Crocodile, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and his clandestine syndicate, Baroque Works. The Straw Hats must navigate a civil war, make impossible choices, and protect Vivi’s kingdom before it collapses.
Season 3 will bring the Alabasta Arc to life, introducing key characters like Bon Clay, portrayed by Cole Escola, and Ace, played by Xolo Maridueña. Joe Manganiello will step fully into the role of Sir Crocodile after a brief cameo in Season 2.
The live-action series has been a critical success since its debut, with Season 1 premiering on August 31, 2023, and Season 2, titled “Into the Grand Line,” releasing on March 10, 2026.
