Academy Award-winner Cillian Murphy returned to his iconic gangster kingpin role Tommy Shelby in the upcoming Netflix series Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man as the famous streaming platform just dropped an action-packed trailer.
The trailer, which debuted on February 19, 2026, offers a dark, wartime glimpse into Tommy Shelby’s return as he emerges from self-imposed exile to confront his illegitimate son, Duke Shelby, portrayed by Academy Award-nominee Barry Keoghan.
Set in 1940 during World War II, the narrative follows Tommy grappling with his son’s reckless leadership of the Shelby family gang while navigating espionage, violence, and betrayal.

The film introduces new cast members, including Tim Roth as a fascist sympathizer and Rebecca Ferguson in a key role, alongside returning favorites Stephen Graham (Hayden Stagg) and Sophie Rundle (Ada Shelby).
Directed by Tom Harper and written by series creator Steven Knight, The Immortal Man promises a larger, cinematic scale while staying true to the gritty essence of the original series. The trailer features the haunting track “Puppet” by Grian Chatten and includes a dramatic return to the iconic Garrison Pub.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man hits select theaters on March 6, 2026, and will stream globally on Netflix starting March 20, 2026, with two six-part follow-up series reportedly in the works.
