A technical issue has come to light in the election results of NA-130, where Nawaz Sharif secured a substantial victory over Yasmeen Rashid.
Political analysts have identified an error in Form 47 of NA-130 Lahore. According to the details in Form 47, the total registered votes in this constituency amount to 608,318, with 293,693 votes cast. However, a discrepancy arises as the form indicates that out of the 293,693 cast votes, 294,043 are labeled as ‘okay,’ while 650 were rejected.

The crux of the problem lies in the fact that the number of votes marked as ‘okay’ surpasses the total number of votes cast in this constituency.
It should be noted that as per official results, Nawaz Sharif has won this seat by securing 171,024 votes, while his rival candidate PTI stalwart Yasmeen Rashid got 115,043 votes.
It is also worth mentioning here that in the initial results of the constituency on a private TV channel, Rashid was leading while Sharif was in second place.
