LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has requested the Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking bail in the narcotics case.
The LHC has rejected Rana Sanaullah’s bail petition, who is currently on the judicial remand until 30th November, twice.

In his petition, Sanaullah stated that the case against him was registered because of his strong criticism of the government.
The PML-N leader further said, “The FIR text does not correspond with the CCTV footage.”
The PML-N leader said that the complainant mentioned recovery of 21kg heroin in the FIR, however, the quantity was shown to be 15kg afterward.
Rana Sanaullah was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force on 1st July over his alleged links with drug traffickers in Lahore.

Rana Sanaullah and six other suspects have been named in the 200-page long challan.
Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) claimed that it had seized a large number of drugs in possession of Sanaullah and lodged a case under section 9 (C) of Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997.
