KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has also delayed its rally from 18th to 28th March due to the coronavirus.
It was decided in an important party meeting. The Rabita Committee headed by Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui held in Bahadurabad decided to delay the celebration day from 18th March to 28th March.
The rally was scheduled to take place on 18th march as that day marks 36 years to the foundation of the MQM.
The committee delayed the celebration due to the current situation as pre-caution to avoid public gatherings due to the risks of coronavirus.
However, if no significant progress has been made in regards to the spread of the coronavirus spread.
MQM-P leaders demanded that arrangements for the screening of passengers arriving at the Karachi airport from foreign flights should be more efficient.
The leaders also demanded the government to spend Rs 460 billion from Bahria Town Karachi as a result of the Supreme Court decision to provide development and basic facilities to the people of Karachi and the city of Karachi as legal and moral rights over the city.
