Urdu-language newspapers in India, while less prevalent than Hindi, cater to a diverse audience, including Muslims, Hindus, and Sikhs. Notably, Urdu language standards are maintained in India, but some areas in Pakistan lack the same support. This underlines the significance of Urdu in both countries.
One of the Modi government’s notable achievements is hosting the G20 conference, where Pakistan was notably absent. However, our former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif believed that Pakistan would have been in the G20 meeting had his administration not been overthrown.
Opposition parties, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, have criticized the government, accusing it of espionage driven by fear of losing power. The Modi government has called for an investigation to address these allegations.
While the government refutes the claims, opposition leaders, such as Mahva Moitra and Priyanka Chaturvedi, have shared evidence suggesting hacking attempts on their communications, casting doubt on the Modi government’s stance.
