KARACHI: Actress Mehwish Hayat has named former cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq as her all-time favorite Pakistan cricket team’s captain.
While recalling a moment at Gaddafi Stadium, Mehwish Hayat took to Twitter and wrote that she felt a great sense of pride seeing the ‘Wall of Fame’ of cricketing legends at Gaddafi Stadium which honour Pakistani heroes through the ages.

Mehwish revealed that Inzamam-ul-Haq was her personal ideal Pakistan captain and asked her fans to share the name of their favourite skipper.
The legendary Inzamam ul Haq had donned the famous Pakistan jerseys across 120 Tests, 378 ODIs and a solitary T20I from 1991 to 2007. The veteran batsman scored 11739 ODI runs at an average of 39.52 whereas, in Test cricket, he amassed 8830 runs at an average of 49.60.
Following his retirement, Inzamam served Pakistan cricket in different roles. In 2012, he was appointed as batting consultant of the green shirts.
The former skipper also served as head coach of the Afghanistan cricket team from 2015-2016. He then served as the national team’s chief selector from 2016-2019.
