RAWALPINDI: The local police has set a new record by filing an FIR of a quarrel against a 4-year-old child in its Cross-Version document.
Naseerabad police station had registered a case of brawl, involving use of bricks and stones against a couple and their four-year-old innocent child in cross-version on the request of citizen Ghulam Mustafa.
A female lawyer picked up the minor child on her arms and produced before the Judge in local court, on which the court expressed extreme displeasure and summoned the investigating officer along with the record.
The judge Sohail Anjum of the local court remarked that while registering the FIR, the police should have seen whether a child can lift a brick or not.
The judge dismissed allegations against minor child and ordered his immediate release. At this moment, the defense lawyers demanded of the court that action must be taken against the officers responsible for creating such a fiasco.
Reacting on the issue, Rawalpindi Police denied the news saying it ‘contrary to facts’.
