ISLAMABAD: Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said drawn attention towards the bleeding wounds, saying it is harmful for politicians to ignore wounds of the nation, and stressed the need to find political solutions to every problem.
Expressing his views during the National Assembly session on Wednesday, Khawaja Asif said “we ended the rule of a person [Imran Khan] by constitutional means, and now the same person was bent upon harming the country today and constantly blackmailing the state.
He said people from small provinces carried away the dead bodies from Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi but didn’t harm the country.

He said some 30 million flood victims had no choice but were forced to live under open sky. “We all have to work together on the problems of the country. The people of Swat came out in large numbers for their rights. The provincial government should solve their problems,” he said, adding that it was good to see that the people of Swat come together because the fire, ignited in Swat, could reach everyone’s home including mine.
Khawaja Asif said that the core problem of the country started in the 50s, and asked as to how long would the burden be carried on our shoulders? “You have to sit down to solve the issues. The same scenario, witnessed 13 years back, has started again in Swat,” he said.
Khawaja Asif said that when we went to Balochistan, we were told that we shouldn’t have criticized. He said the ruling elites in the country have committed mistakes from time to time, and everyone should accept its guilt.
