It seems like Adnan Siddiqui is not impressed with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s aerial action film Fighter and he asked not to insult the audience’s intelligence.
The Mere Pass Tum Ho actor earlier slammed the Fighter trailer and now he has shared an opinion about the movie on his official X account. “A lesson to heed for the Fighter team after your flop show: Do not insult your audience’s intelligence. They can discern agendas.”
According to Siddiqui, let entertainment be free from unnecessary politics. Earlier, Siddiqui had said after the Fighter trailer release in January, without mentioning the name of the movie, that it was ‘disheartening’ to see Bollywood portray Pakistanis as villains.

The film grossed over ₹250 crore worldwide in its opening week, but its business at the domestic box office crashed on its first Monday in theatres. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles.
Fighter tells the story of Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik Roshan), Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Deepika Padukone), and Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Anil Kapoor), along with the other members of the elite IAF unit, Air Dragons.
Fighter focuses on members of Air Dragons, who are willing to give it their all for the nation while going through the highs and lows of their internal and external battles. The aerial action film also features Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
