Several sections of motorways M-2, M-3, and M-4 in Punjab have been shut down due to dense fog, which has drastically reduced visibility, according to the motorway police.

Motorway M-2 is closed between Thokar Niaz Beg and Kala Shah Kaku Interchange, as well as from Kot Momin to Lillah Interchange. The stretch from Thokar Niaz Beg to Babu Sabu is also inaccessible.

Similarly, Motorway M-3 is closed between Samundri and Darkhana, while poor visibility has affected the Pindi Bhattian to Multan section.

The closures were implemented to ensure public safety. Travelers have been advised to plan their journeys during daylight hours, preferably between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., when visibility conditions are expected to improve.
