The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has approved a Rs4.2 billion project to repair and upgrade four main road routes in the city. The decision was taken in a meeting led by Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab.
The roads included in the plan are
- Rashid Minhas Road
- S.M. Taufique Road
- Sir Shah Suleman Road
- Pehalwan Goth Road
Each of these will be fixed and improved to make traffic flow better and the roads more modern. The mayor’s team says the work will also fix sewer problems, add green areas, and improve traffic signs and lane markings.
