In Karachi, the first procession of Chup Tazia concluded after passing through the designated routes, while the second procession will be taken out from Rizvia Society after Zuhr prayers.
In Karachi, the first Chup Tazia procession was taken out from Nishtar Park after Fajr prayers. Addressing the gathering, religious scholar Allama Baqir Zaidi highlighted the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs of Karbala. The procession was led by Boterab Scouts, while the mourners participating in the procession continued reciting elegies in remembrance of the martyrs of Karbala.
The procession that started from Nishtar Park passed through Numaish, M.A. Jinnah Road, Saddar, Tibet Centre, Eidgah, Lighthouse, and Bolton Market, and after reaching Imam Bargah Husainia Iraniyan in Kharadar, concluded at Noor Bagh Musafir Khana. The second procession of Chup Tazia will be taken out after Zuhrain prayers from Qasr-e-Maseeb Rizvia, and after passing through Lasbela, Old Liaquatabad, and Jail Road, will conclude at Imam Bargah Shah Najaf, Martin Quarters.
Special arrangements have been made for the security of the processions, while traffic police have devised an alternate plan to maintain smooth flow of traffic.
