Actress Kangana Ranaut has yet again made headlines and this time for refusing to collaborate with Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
It all started when Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently praised the actress’ performances in movies like ‘Queen’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ during an interview with Siddharth Kanan, during which he expressed his desire to work with her.
Now, the Tejas actress expressed her unwillingness to work with him on any future projects on her social media account. Ranaut took to X and politely declined his offer by sharing his clip, making it clear that she did not wish to be offered any roles by him.
In a statement in Hindi, she spoke about the distinction between review and criticism in art, thanking Vanga for his courteous demeanour but firmly declining any professional collaboration.
Ranaut’s refusal to work with Vanga comes amidst ongoing conversations surrounding Animal which stars Ranbir Kapoor.
The movie despite being a box office hit faced criticism from a section of society for its alleged depiction of male dominance and objectification of women.
Apart from that, on the work front, Vanga has a bunch of anticipated projects such as the sequel of Animal, and a cop-drama with Prabhas titled ‘Spirit’. Meanwhile, Kangana will be seen in her next film ‘Emergency’, which is scheduled to be released on June 14.
