Islamabad prepares for direct Iran-US talks amid tight security

Preparations are underway in Islamabad for direct talks between Iran and the United States, facilitated by Pakistan.

According to media reports, a five-star hotel has been selected to accommodate foreign delegations, while additional guests will be housed in other private hotels.

Private hotels have asked existing guests to vacate, while authorities have decided to block roads leading to these hotels with containers due to security concerns.

Sources said traffic routes have been designated for transporting foreign guests to and from the airport, and the administration, police, and relevant agencies have been instructed to remain on high alert.
