ISLAMABAD: Rising inflation in Pakistan has made the people very upset.
According to details, the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association has attributed the increase in the shortage of medicines to sales tax and dollar rate.
Qazi Mansoor Dilawar, president of the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, said that the 17 percent sales tax and the increase in the dollar rate had led to a shortage of 40 more medicines due to a shortage of raw materials.

He said that a 17 percent sales tax on the pharma industry has increased the cost of production and the import of raw materials has also stopped due to the dollar carat being Rs 210.
Mansoor Dilawar added that the shortage of raw materials has led to a shortage of 40 more medicines, including fever, blood thinners, cancer, and other life-saving medicines for joint pain. He also said that due to the shortage of medicines in the country, their prices in the market would also go up.
