India’s unprovoked firing at LoC claims two lives

RAWALPINDI: At least two civilians of Azad Kashmir, including a three-year-old girl, were martyred and three others injured by India’s unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday.
According to the statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the incident took place in Nekrun Sector, where three houses were also burnt in the cross border attack.
The martyred have been identified as Abdul Jalil, 45, and three-year-old Nausheen. Three citizens also got injured. The wounded have been shifted to the hospital.
According to the military officials, the latest ceasefire violations have pushed the civilian death toll in the current year to 31, including 21 men and 10 women and military personnel including 14.
