ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that India prepared to deploy Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) goons in the Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK).
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that there are reports of RSS being deployed to occupied Kashmir in order to carry out a massacre of innocent Muslims .
Speaking to reporters in Khanewal, the foreign minister said that the situation in occupied Kashmir was deteriorating day by day with a humanitarian crisis emerging.
He maintained that Pakistan would continue its support to the Kashmiris, as all the political parties were on the same page concerning the Kashmir issue. He added that the world community had been informed about the prevailing situation in the occupied valley.
Qureshi said, “The world should act immediately to stop Indian brutalities so that the innocent people of occupied Kashmir could take a sigh of relief.”
Qureshi added that a joint session of the Kashmir Committee and Foreign committee would be held next week to ensure protection of minorities’ rights in the country.
The foreign minister has urged the human rights organisations to visit the occupied valley, inspect the ground situation there and then inform the world about it.
Responding to a question, he said that the United Nations should send its delegations to occupied Kashmir and play its role in lifting the curfew.
Since 5th August, Indian occupied Kashmir has been facing a curfew after New Delhi revoked Article 370 of its constitution, which conferred it a special status.
