LAHORE: India has left a flood rail in the Ravi River, which has entered Pakistani territory.
According to the details, India released a flood rail in Pakistan on the second day of its Independence Day, after which the water level is rising at Jaster, where the flow of water has reached 40 thousand cusecs.
Yesterday also, due to the release of 1,71,000 cusecs of water from the Ach Barrage by the Narendra Modi government of India, the PDM issued an alert regarding the flood and directed the relevant institutions to remain alert.
Officials said that the flooded rail left by India will reach Shahdara today. There is a possibility of medium to high-level flood in Ravi river in next 1 day which may affect different divisions of Punjab.
Lahore, Narowal, Okara, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Nankana Sahib, Faisalabad, Jhang, Khanewal, Toba Tek Singh, and Multan are expected to be affected as a result of possible floods. Officials have instructed the concerned institutions to be ready to deal with the flood.
