American model Ashley Graham revealed on January 2 that she sprained her foot while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
According to a report by Geo News on Saturday, sharing her experience on Snapchat, Graham said, “I went to the emergency room last night and got this boot. It’s not broken, just a sprain.”
Graham explained that the injury occurred while she was searching for a child near the pool at their holiday home, which had been fenced off for safety. “I thought I lost a kid in the pool and was frantically looking, but they were fine. All is good, mommy flight mode,” she said.
Her husband, Justin Ervin, left for New York with their children and nanny, while Graham prepared to head to Los Angeles for the Golden Globes, where she will host the Women’s Wear Daily livestream.
Despite the injury, Graham remained optimistic, showcasing her medical boot and humorously dubbing it “boot chic.” She mentioned, “I walked on it this morning. I couldn’t last night, but everything’s fine. I think I just sprained it really bad. So dumb.”
The model concluded her updates while waiting for her flight to Los Angeles, ensuring fans that she is managing well despite the mishap.
