Politics is not the name of a limited field of thought or ideology, but a broad word that we use worldwide for the policy made by any person, group, or community with the aim of ensuring its supremacy.
If we examine the words of ensuring our supremacy, we realize that politics is only for the pursuit of our own interests and consider that the politics of the countries found in South Asia, Europe and other sub-continents, including Pakistan, is only based on this point.
If we examine the further definitions of the word politics, we find that politics refers to the activities of a country or region that are related to power, and in particular, the rhetoric between the parties involved in power is important. These days we know it as a political party.
Many thinkers have defined politics in their own way. According to one definition, politics is the name of the activities carried out to improve the quality of life or increase the power of any state, region, or city.
It is as if politics depends on gaining power and improving it, gaining interests and strengthening them, and if we hear something about politicians that such and such a political leader has ignored any of his principles just to gain power. Then we start criticizing him, not thinking about why he was doing politics. His goal was power, if he got it, what was the evil?
If you ask any political leader today, did you come into politics to get power? So he never says that yes, politics is the name of the same thing, but he invents false interpretations and makes excuses. The biggest lie is told that we entered politics to serve the people, which is undoubtedly a white lie.
Whenever a political leader tells this biggest lie in the history of humanity, he is praised, no one says that you had to serve the people, then you would have become a social leader, you would have opened a welfare institution. If you wanted to serve, you would have decided to open a hospital, school, or laboratory and provide your services to the people free of cost or at low cost. Why did you waste people’s time by joining politics?
In the present era, the element of the argument is also disappearing from politics. A politician calls another elder statesman his leader and declares everything he says as legitimate, correct, and factual, heaps false praise on him and recites qasidas. If you do not believe, look at the behavior of the political leaders and activists working at the small level of PTI, Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-N.
If someone asks why you became a part of the Pakistan People’s Party or Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf? So the answer is that I became a part of this movement after being influenced by the views of Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Benazir or Imran Khan. There is no real motive behind the party’s move today.
A great lack of argument is seen when the leaders of any political party praise their leader or begin to miss his achievements. The aim is only to make people consider their leader as their leader and cast as many votes as possible in his cradle. Have you fooled the public?
Our aim here was not to criticize politicians needlessly and without reason, but only to keep in mind the importance of reason in politics. If you have to praise your leader, present facts and figures. Let the people remember the achievements that your leader has really done, not by putting your name on the achievements of others.
