They are now rivals, though, as one team, Brazil, and the other, Argentina, will compete to win the World Cup.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Neymar said he’s in good form ahead what he hopes will be a big tournament for him and his country.
“I’m happy, I’m having a very happy time at the club, so I feel well prepared,” he said.
The Brazilian star also admitted that during the buildup to the World Cup, he and Messi didn’t really talk about it all that much.
“Sometimes we talked about the possibility of meeting in the semi-finals or in the final. I tell Messi that I’m going to be champion and I’ll beat him,” he said.
After a strong start to the season with PSG, Neymar, 30, enters the World Cup in fantastic form. In 19 appearances in all competitions, he has 13 goals and 11 assists.
