Sea breezes have once again resumed in Karachi, making the city’s weather humid. The moisture level in the air has increased unusually, and citizens are feeling both the heat and a pleasant coolness, while rain has also occurred in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds are expected to blow intermittently in Karachi on Monday, and the maximum temperature may reach up to 35°C.
Light winds coming from the southwest, along with humidity, are making the atmosphere heavier. The humidity level has been recorded at around 75%.
Some areas of the city experienced light drizzle early in the morning, and the Meteorological Department has forecast light rain for the evening and nighttime hours.
Meanwhile, the rainfall continues in several areas of Punjab, including Rawalpindi and Islamabad, which has significantly reduced the intensity of heat and humidity.
The intermittent rain has made the weather pleasant. The Meteorological Department has also predicted more rain in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and surrounding areas.
In other cities of Punjab such as Khushab, Jhang, Sargodha, and Faisalabad, weather conditions changed after light to heavy rain, and cool winds in many areas have brought relief to the residents.
In most parts of the country, the weather is expected to remain hot and humid today as well. However, rain with thunder has been forecast in some areas of Upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, which may bring temporary relief to the local weather.
