Here’s a list of Pakistani movies of 2022
The year ahead is all set to see a long lineup of movies with different genres and more set to hit theatres all year round.
There’s no shortage of upcoming movies this year – from Quaid E Azam Zindabad to brand Ghabrana Mana Hai.
Here is the list of upcoming Pakistani movies that are schedule to release this year:
Javed Iqbal
Yasir Hussain and Ayesha Omar starrer biopic on Pakistan’s most notorious serial killer Javed Iqbal will be released on 28th January 2022. It is a movie based on Javed Iqbal, a serial killer, who confessed to murdering over 100 children in Lahore in 1999.
He was infamous for delivering the details of his crimes to the authorities along with evidence. In October 2000, Javed was found dead in his prison cell.
Quaid e Azam Zindabad
Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan will be seen this Eid-ul-Azha in ‘Quaid e Azam Zindabad’. The movie is a crime comedy movie.
Quaid e Azam Zindabad is directed by Nabeel Qureshi. The film is written by Fizza Ali Meerza.
Ghabrana Mana Hai
‘Ghabrana Mana Hai’ is a star-studded movie featuring Saba Qamar, Syed Jibran, and Zahid Ahmed. It will be released this year in April. The movie is directed by Saqib Khan.
Peechay Tou Dekho
Yasir Hussain’s upcoming film ‘Peechay Tou Dekho’ is a horror-comedy movie. Helmed by Syed Atif Ali, the movie is co-written by Mohmmad Yasir, Mounam Majeed.
The film also stars actors including Aadi Adyeal Amjad, Nawal Saeed, Sara Ali Khan, Junaid Akhter, Waqar Hussain, Aamir Qureshi, Shariq Mehmood, Malik Raza, Yasir Taj, Asghar Khoso, Hammad Siddiqui among others. This movie is scheduled to release by the end of this year.
Parde Mein Rehne Do
The movie ‘Parde Mein Rehne Do’ is features gorgeous Hania Aamir and the handsome Ali Rehman Khan in lead roles.
Produced by Wajahat Rauf, Zayed Sheikh, and Shazia Wajahat, the film is written by Mohsin Ali. It is based on social comedy. The cast also includes the following actors: Jawed Sheikh, Munazza Arir, Noor ul Hasan, Sadia Faisal, Hassan Raza, Shafqat Khan, and Sonia Nazir.
